Cool antique tea cart needs a parking space, and maybe a light overhaul. 28" Tall. Top is 28" x 18" with the drop-leaves down, and 38" tip-to-tip when the leaves are up.
Features: Drop-leaf top, brass handle, a small drawer, a sliding glass shelf, a wooden bottom shelf, groovy eight-spoke wheels on the back, lathed spindle post frame. This could be a sweet ride for your refreshment essentials.
The wheels are good, and all roll easily. but the front "tires" are gone, in that there is no rubber on the wooden rims. The back tire rubber is great. Back wheels are 14".
There is a sliding glass shelf, a nice feature that many tea trolleys lack. Unfortunately, the glass has a large crack, shown in the photos. It could be replaced fairly easily, with either another piece of glass, or a piece of wood.
There is a spot of damage to the finish on the top, and a moderate cigarette burn, also on the top, on the same side as the damage to the finish, at the other end. See the photos. The drop-leaves are in great shape, both their finish, and the mechanisms that hold them in position.
I'm sad to let this go, but I've realized that it is out of place here, and too far down on a long list of small projects to get to anytime soon.
