This 70+ yo. antique 3-person sofa is solid wood and in excellent condition; The sturdy frame holds a solid, leafy carved molding (walnut, mahogany or cherry likely) with 4 claw feet at the base of the front of this couch. The carved molding extends around to the sides. The back feet are a pedestal type. The main body was reupholstered in the mid-seventies by Frank Fitus Upholstery in Detroit, Michigan.
The 3 square seat cushions were replaced with new foam and a complimentary solid cream brocade upholstery fabric a few years ago ($600). The original gold and cream floral brocade on the main frame sofa was no longer available. The asking price has been reduced from $1400. We had many family dinners with great memories with this sofa as a centerpiece. We would love a new family to enjoy this couch as much as our family did. Please contact through CL chat only.
