The waxed canvas is rolled. Creases will occur naturally while you're making the bag, too, and are considered part of the character of waxed canvas fabric. These can be minimized afterwards with a hair dryer (see online instructions); but if you don't like creases, then you likely won't like working with waxed canvas.
