Vintage Japanese (outer robe) wedding kimono handpainted and embroided - $1,599

I purchased this original "work of art" collector's item from a wedding kimono boutique in Japan when I visited Tokyo in the early 1980's. It is handmade (one-of-a-kind), i.e. not made or mass produced by a brand named kimono designer or store. That means it's unlikely you'll ever find another item like this one.
Most wedding kimono's at that time were (dark) red in color.
Very nice quality with stunning embroidery details. It comes with a wooden hanger (used to hang it up on a wall as a showpiece)
This uncommon collectible item is about 6.5 ft tall, about 4 ft wide and the thick (red border) hem is about 4 ft long (when opened up). The sleeves are about 42" (from shoulder to end of sleeves).
