*Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of animal rescue. Can you set aside some time to help in the rescue process? There are many ways in which you might be of service. If you are interested, please fill out the volunteer application and return it to the sanctuary.

Volunteer Water and Food Changers
Each day we must give fresh water and food to these birds. Extra help is appreciated all the time.

Volunteer/Cage Cleaners
Each day each cage must be cleaned thoroughly. Each cage is stripped of debris and bedding is changed. Floors are swept and laundry is done. Cage Attendants may also be asked to help provide food and water for the birds.

Weekend Work Events
Each month Mollywood holds a Work Party Saturday. These saturdays usually consist of taking care of large projects like building aviaries and clearing out spaces to put them. Please contact Mollywood for future dates.

Drivers
This involves picking up animals from all over the state of Washington, sometimes even Oregon or the close edge of Idaho. Also you may be asked to pick up donations of pet foods and supplies. Sometimes we have as much as a day's notice, sometimes we need a driver immediately.

Foster Care
A foster home must be able to provide a safe, warm place isolated from other pets. The birds need lots of human contact to help develop confidence and social skills. Supplies such as pellets, cage paper, water and toys are generally supplied by the foster home. You must volunteer at Mollywood to qualify as a foster home. Please email us to enquire further.

Make Toys
Fun ideas for kids. Click here to see how you can make a great, inexpensive bird toy!

Other
There may be other ways you'd like to help out. Tell us what you're good at and how you'd like to use your talent. Are you a contractor, electrician or ???? contact us. We need help in almost every area, all the time!

*Donations

Like to surf/shop the Internet? If you are on our home page (mollywood.org) and scroll to the bottom, you can join One Cause and anything you buy through there will show you a percentage that will come to Mollywood.

Monetary Donations
Please make check payable to MOLLYWOOD and mail to:

I am unsure what to type for my ad so Im sorry if its dull and unprofessional or if its even worth reading. But about a year ago I got let go from Lyndem Door after almost working there for 3 years because of the Economic crisis these days. I'm 23 year old male who is very very very much struggling with finances I live at home thankfully yet, but I still got bills to pay for. Im a very hard worker and everybody Ive ever worked with will tell you the same thing. A job is a job. Thats my statement about work.
Im the type of youngster who loves to work and has a hard time when I dont work.
If you give me a job and the tools to do it Ill do it.
If Im unsure about something Ill ask questions. I hate taking breaks when Im working as I like to get the job done.
I can dig holes, clean the house, do laundry, babysit, fix a fence, help in the barn, build the fence, prune the trees, weed the weeds, undig a bush the size of your garage Ive done it before I got friends who will prove it to. Ill hammer the nails, Ill gelp you load or unload stuff ,help you pack stuff up, load the medal or wood into the trailer, Ill paint the walls, Ill do the dishes, Ill help you load the groceries even, Ill demolish what you want demolished. Ill help in the field or woods or farm or wherver you ask me to help.
As I said to me A JOB IS A JOB.
If you ask me to do it Ill do it . As long as not drugs or needles or violence.
Im not a guy to not let a job go unfinished when Im doing the job.
If its a job worth starting, its a job worth finishing no matter how long it takes even if a month to do it its a job to me.
Im reliable, dependant, energetic, determined, hard working motivated, helpful, willing to help and do the job, cheerful, and will do the job given to me.

Im available Monday nights to Saturday night.

I dont drive but can walk longboard or take the bus.

Im just wanting something to keep me busy.

Thank you for reading my ad and I appreciate it that you took your time to read it. Thank you.
